3½” Rolling Road

Description

Rolling road are ideal testing tools for locomotives. They simulate track conditions to ensure your locomotive and wheelsets are perfectly balanced.

Featuring adjustable brackets, mounting holes and a centreline notch.

Although our rolling roads are designed, tested and capable of working as free-standing units, the mounting holes and centreline notch allow for securing into position if you so wish.

One unit will be required for each working axle.

Measurements:

Suitable for 3½” gauge locomotives.

Bracket positions: Largest – wheel tread over 4½” | Smallest – wheel tread under 4½”

Built from laser cut 6mm steel and using sealed roller bearings.

We can offer a ‘fit’ service to ensure your loco will sit correctly on the rollers, all we need is your wheel diameters, axle centres and number of axles and we will generate a test CAD model.
