Description
Signallers flags are used to signal to the driver from the signal box. Large flags, made from vibrant colours making them easily visible during all weather conditions.
- The red flag is a universal signal used to indicate stop or danger. It is typically waved to stop the train immediately or to warn of an obstruction or hazard ahead.
- The green flag generally signals that it is safe to proceed. It is often used to signal that the track ahead is clear, and the train is allowed to continue.
- The yellow flag is typically used to signal caution or to indicate that a train should slow down. It may also be used to indicate an impending change in track or other conditions requiring careful attention.
