This heavy-duty tool has been specifically designed and built by us. To make rerailing of locomotives and rolling stock easier. Whilst saving your back! The re-railer tool allows a single person to rerail a vehicle.
This is the improved design. With wider footprint allowing for both on and off track use. Following a derailment, the tool should be placed on the track and the lifting cradle positioned underneath the locomotive buffer beam. Using a length of tube as a lever over the re-railer stub. Lift the locomotive up until the wheel flanges are clear of the rail head.
The tool will then allow you to slew the locomotive, allowing careful realignment of wheels over the top of the track. Once aligned, the locomotive can be lowered back down onto the track. The re-railer can also be used for lifting locomotives and rolling stock up above the rails for blocking, this is especially useful for servicing and repairs.

A suitable tube of at least 800mm long with an internal diameter of at least 25mm is required.
