September 2026

Well, September was a difficult one. The biggest thank you to each of you who showed us such kindness and patience this month. The Facebook, WhatsApp and email messages of support and love have been truly invaluable.

The business still moved along in the background, in terms of updating all our admin end, the website has gone through some changes (with more still pending), and we’ve got some new products available too.

Gift Range!
Not just for Christmas either, but they would make good little stocking fillers for all railway fans.
This range is growing, and customisable too.

Coasters:
Light signals and disc signals with rubber bases.
Personalised MDF coasters, to add your own railway logo to, or a loco of choice.

Mugs:
110z mugs, these too can be personalised with locos, logos or if you have your own idea in mind, get in contact with us and we can make it happen.

– “Not To Be Moved” one you’ve probably seen in some of our social media posts. Unfortunately for Chris though, he does tend to move it still and then wonders where it’s gone!

– “Limited Clearance” & “Limited Patience”
The standard warning, and a play on the warning too. These themselves can be changed to phrase you’d like.

These can all be found within our shop, under GIFTS.

Tram Controller
(Colin Edmondson)

Now live on the website in the universal DIY range is Colin Edmondson’s tram controller. This is the same as is used in the TYKE locomotive, but has been brought into an item of its own. This is also used in the FABR Duet.

Full details and spec can be found HERE.

September Fun!
September 8th we were invited to North Weald and District Miniature Railways Emergency Services day.
A full day of lights, sirens, stalls, rides and hundreds of people.
Wanting to fit in with the theme of the day our little Scamp was fitted with its very own flashing blue lights. However after a day of 50+ little driver experiences, travelling over 5 miles and many smiling faces, Scamp #150 ended its day in the back of a different van… turns out the BTP take impersonation very seriously!

On September 12th and 13th NWDMRs two Knights went on a visit to Swanley New Barn Railway for their non-steam gala. A lovely weekend of showcasing all the other little locos.

In The Workshop
Almost ready to head out to the Czech Republic is this pretty green Scamp with matching 5ft coach.

Alongside this we have 8 bogies ready to go, most of a 24 item order working their way through processing and assembly, 2 Scamp kits, an Imp kit, super sized Scamp kit, and multiple tippers of different gauges!
